Phone:5 This is a 2008 '58' registration VW Caravelle Executive with disabled driver transfer system. It has the 2.5 TDI (turbo diesel engine) and automatic gearbox. It has covered 48,500 miles from new and is finished in metallic grey. As it has had only one owner from new - a former Motability scheme vehicle - it has full service history (both a stamped service book and printout). On the conversion side of things, there is an underslung wheelchair lift (this is underneath the passenger side loading door) - this is operated via a wireless remote (there is also a wired remote inside the vehicle). On entry into the vehicle there is a Q-Straint wheelchair clamp for locking your wheelchair into position (an additional adaption may be required). Then transfer from your wheelchair into the 6-way RICON driver seat (there are buttons for forward/backward, side to side and up and down - enabling a comfortable driving position). Simply place the key fob into the reader and press to start/stop and away you go. The front passenger seat is fixed on floor tracking and there are two rear passenger seats also. This conversion was carried out by GM Coachworks Conversions. As well as all this, there are reverse sensors, air conditioning, CD/Radio, twin side loading doors, alloy wheels and electric front windows.
