3/4 STENTOR STUDENT II VIOLIN OUTFIT. Carved from solid tonewoods with a gold brown varnish and ebony fingerboard. Very good quality with no marks or scratches. RRP is £144 Used this violin up to grade 4 but then I outgrew it and moved on to a full size violin. Didn't have any problems with it in the 3 years I played it. Good quality and nice tone for a beginner violin. Unfortunately the E string snapped due to a friend twisting the pegs round too far trying to tune it however, she didn't play violin and didn't know how to tune it properly. The string had never snapped when I had tuned it properly. Just needs a new E string which can be easily fitted. I would normally have done this myself before selling it on but am moving house soon and don't have the time to do so and sell it before we move. Comes with a cream cushion with olive patterning for shoulder support. Also includes detachable straps that hook onto the back of the case so that you can carry it on your back instead of holding it. Adjusters allow easier and more accurate tuning (to avoid snapping the string!!!) but the ebony pegs can also be used for tuning.
